ZTE Nubia 5s mini

ZTE Nubia 5s mini
Although you may not recognize ZTE by name, it is possible that you own one of these devices without realizing it, the Chinese company is churning out white-label products for various Sprint and MVNOs to years. Now ready to shed its OEM roots here in the US, ZTE offers up mini 5s Nubia, an unlocked Android smartphone sold under the brand ZTE directly to customers on Amazon, rather than through the shady, these third-party importers. For $ 279.99, you get a surprisingly sleek and well-built device with a high-quality display and 4G LTE compatibility for T-Mobile and AT & T. The latter spec is a Rarity for budget- friendly to unlock the device, and reason enough to consider the disingenuously named mini 5s. It falls somewhere between the LTE-less Motorola Moto G and oversized HUAWEI climb Mate2 4G. If you do not care to stock Android and want a reasonably sized phone, the ZTE Nubia 5s mini is a good choice to unlock market.

Design, Features, and Call Quality
The Nubia 5s mini is completely made from plastic, but it's not glossy, creaky plastic contact you at low cost handsets to the back shell is solid and powdery, matte finish that feels a lot like OnePlus one's. At 5.43 by 2.71 by 0.32 inches (HWD) and 4.52 ounces, the 5s mini is sleek and well-suited for one-handed use. Size puts it right in line with the newly announced Apple iPhone 6, which also features a 4.7-inch display.

Looks sharp 720p display with 312ppi and use Sharp IGZO LCD technology, similar to what Apple uses for the iPad is already displayed. Maximum brightness is good enough for outdoor use, viewing angle is almost 180 degrees, and excellent contrast and accurate color help the image on the screen really pop.

The single speaker port around the back is mediocre at best; not distort, but that is because it does not get very loud at all. Below the display are three capacitive navigation keys, but only the Home button stays lit and the other two keys are just little dots, making you guess their actual functions. You can change their position, but you are limited to the Back and Menu keys, rather than the more common key Recent Apps.

The unlock mini 5s Nubia supports GSM (850/900/1800 / 1900MHz), UMTS (bands 2, 4, and 5), and LTE (bands 2, 4, 5, and 17). US, which means support for T-Mobile and AT & T, including both LTE carrier. That was a big win for an affordable unlocked device. Not support the new Moto G LTE launch, which is understandably a deal breaker for many. I saw download speeds that hovered around 3-5Mbps 8-10Mbps down and up, which is the slow side for LTE, but network congestion in Manhattan could be to blame.

Call quality is not very impressive in my test. Unless I made a point to enunciate unnaturally, transmissions through the mic sounds muffled, and I saw a bit of static in the background of most calls. In a preliminary test battery, the 5s mini lasted for 9 hours, 10 minutes of continuous talk time, while discharging only 50 percent of its battery 2,000mAh. It was a strong showing and, anecdotally, the mini 5s had more than enough to last me through the use of a common day and showed excellent standby battery life, lasts almost a whole week without idling no charge.

Also onboard are dual-band 802.11b / g / n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS radios, everything worked fine on my test.
