KD Interactive Kurio Phone

KD Interactive Kurio Phone
Phone protected children is a good idea. Kids like smartphone; Parents want to feel safe. But Unlocked Phone suradęs KD Interactive's ($ 159.99) is cheaply made and loaded down with bloatware, and not in competition with the kid-friendly solutions coming from the major US carriers.

Physical Properties and Call Quality
The suradęs Phone is relatively hands-friendly 4.8 by 2.4 by 0.3 inches (HWD) and 4.8 ounces, and not cranky. It is a combination of matte and glossy plastic, black with red accents; it does not scream "kiddy" at all. Turn it on, though, and you'll immediately failed. The 4-inch, 800-by-480 LCD is bright enough, but it looks cheap and slightly fuzzy. The phone is not waterproof, but it also is not fragile.

The suradęs Phone is a quad-band HSPA + 21 devices with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. That means it will do fine on AT & T and T-Mobile network, although it hit the Internet at speeds of more than about 5Mbps.

Call quality is fine in my testing. Earpiece is loud and sharp, though rather harshly. Speakerphone is surprisingly quiet, so children are often used earpiece. Voice transmissions through the microphone is beautiful and warm, with surprisingly good noise cancellation. The phone supports Bluetooth 3.0, but if your kid like a Bluetooth headset, maybe he should get fancier phone.

Battery, 3 hours, 21 minutes of video streaming of time, is not good.
